Our 2021 Tesla Model Y shares daily-driving duty with Volt Reaper, the collection’s Model S. Its modifications started almost immediately: the gallery records the original delivery-day ride height and the Eibach lowering springs fitted by day three.
Model Y Performance wheels followed. The later photographs show how the lowered setup fits everyday use, from United States Supercharger stops and wash days to towing cars to Maryland. The build is documented around those real journeys and changes.

MODEL Y / THE FIRST MODIFICATION
Day one to day three.
Day one: delivery of our 2021 Tesla Model Y at its original ride height. By day three, the first modification was already complete: Eibach lowering springs.
MODEL Y / LIFE WITH THE DAILY
Lowered. Still working.
Model Y Performance wheels followed the Eibach lowering springs. From Supercharger stops in the United States to a much-needed wash, this Model Y keeps doing daily duty. Against everyone’s disbelief, the lowered setup works for us—even towing cars all the way to Maryland.
